Sadly it's true. The powers that be wanting a Saturday service in operation 6 days a week with a few token 6 cars floating around.

Really, really poor decision if this happens. Unbelievable that only a few days after Merseytravel released a report about expansion, they're talking about going backwards on the network they've already got!

Does anyone know who is responsible for this decision, Merseyrail or Merseytravel? Or maybe both?

It's Merseyrail who want it, Merseytravel who will no doubt allow it.
