Can anyone confirm if any 508s are on the Southports today? UPDATE got a 508 on a Chester service

Both Headbolt Lane units appear to have failed today.

508104/108/114/120/141 are booked to be on Southport services today

The Headbolt Lane service is slowly turning into the joke service .
They are presently struggling to get one unit , never mind two to work .

The question to ask now is when does anybody think youll get 4 services an hour ? 2024 is a good guess at this time.

508141 is on the hourly Liverpool to Kirkby service today.

Must’ve done a swap at some point - those units were what was allocated overnight

When there are at least 5, preferably 6 good reliable units.
With 777144 out of action UFN, it’s not looking good

I ended up getting 508131 on the Chester since it turned up when I was at Lime Street, I just wanted to make I had 1 more ride on one before withdrawal I will do the same for the 507 just before the last examples are withdrawn.

Beginning to think that ORR should just allow 3rd rail to Headbolt Lane if reliability doesn't improve even though Im sure it will in time, its not even a mile from Kirkby.

Totally agree, it seems to be a huge expenditure for a two minute extension
