I do wonder how long before one of these units is graffitied , then lets see how they go about removing it , we could be looking at units in as bad a state as before .
Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think 508111 or 507002 have been tagged since receiving their wraps?

Certainly can't recall it myself. Still, 002/111 have been fitted with vinyl protection ("Signshine") so graffiti shouldn't pose too much of a problem to their liveries.

Having seen the two together today the new grey livery is considerably lighter than the old livery.
SD.
no trains to or from Hunts Cross due to fallen tree on line at St Micheals
Services subject to major disruption tonight .
Train has failed between Bache and Capenhurst and also a tree on the line at Bebington.
Bus service trying to be obtained .
Its not particularly good for merseyrail at the moment. Central Northern Line platform is dangerously busy. Have to say that staff are doing the company credit tonight.
There is debris on the track delaying services at Birkenhead Park
Both re-liveried units on the Northern Line today, with 507011 on the Formby - Hunts Cross service (partnering 507009) and 507017 on the Kirkby line. The two advertisers were also on the Formby route, with 507002 working with 508130 and 508111 working with 507007.
The nice variety of double deckers on the rail replacement and all day six cars on the Formby route have made it an enjoyable week's travel.
I caught 017 today on Kirkby line. Have to say they have made a mess with the paint on the window frames and door frames....
