Not sure but both classes used to do it a lot in the past, especially during colder weather.
One fault I forgot to mention with 507002: the internal scrolling displays weren't working while it was coupled with 508124, but the voice was.
I do have to say, if 507001 and 507002 pulled up together, I would definitely get on 001 as.it is still the better unit.

I do agree. It would be nice to see them paired together soon through. I've got two videos of them paired on two different occasions in summer 2008, but not in HD yet.
507002 working the 08.18 from hightown to southport today so should work the 08.43 from southport to hunts cross
So 26th September is a significant date in the rail world, it is the date that 507002 returned to service and was also the date of the last A stock passenger run in London
they were my fav trains, class 507's a close second
A normal weekday service should resume with first services on 28th September on the Liverpool - Chester / Ellesmere Port after this weeks unprecedented heavy torrential rain.
Wirral line at a standstill, failed train on approach to Hamilton sq. Any ideas of unit involved?
507027 - lost all power leaving Hamilton Sq.
will 507002 be doing the southport line tomorrow, if so what would the times be?
507 mad (ex mrail forever)

If it ends up at Kirkdale Sidings tonight, it could be anywhere tomorrow - even on the Wirral!
