The 777 open day event will be at Birkenhead North on the 9th and 11th September.
It may not be 010, as 014 will probably have accumulated its 1500 miles of fault free running also by that time. 012 will be the next one after 014 to do its 1500 miles
777002/009 were moved from Walton Old Jn to Crewe for storage today.
Also, 507006 is being hauled from Kirkdale Sidings to Alexandra dock for cutting up tomorrow

Might be time to sort out the Push Bike for a one off Ride..
57312 arrived at Kirkdale this evening to take 507006 away
I believe 57310 is also there
Stood on the Bridge by the Depot, 57312 is leading.
Are there any videos of it please
I am going to try and record it as it departs
I know some members might ridicule me for saying this but its a pity tgat at least the middle coach has not been added into another unit even if that unit had to run on its own as a 4 coach.
Back in 1991 I remember boarding a class 508 unit from rock ferry to liverpool which arrived as a 4 coach, unfortunately I cannot remember which unit it was but although merseyrail staff will deny they have run a 4 coach unit and it is a huge pity that camera phones were not around back then otherwise I would have filmed to prove that it has happened before.
Accordng to RTT 507006 was being moved to Seaforth CT.
