507002 is still awaiting some parts. No date to re-enter service yet.

508104 on the Ormskirk line today still with the RSK graffiti over one carriage side and front end. It's crossed over onto the Northern Line since this attack and still hasn't been cleaned.
508115 is on the Southport line today paired with 507017, evidently just out from an overhaul. Some of the glass and a few seats have been reupholstered and look very fresh by comparison with the original worn examples from back in 2004. Shows how well used these trains can get, although 508115 is a tidy set.
507009 what do you think about units out on the road with graffiti on them ?
Public perception of units with graffiti on them must be that the customer is not bothered .
How many times do we see a service bus with graffiti on the outside ?
I don't like it one bit Wirralbus, although to be fair Merseyrail certainly aren't the worst operator for it. I understand in parts of London such as the Thameslink, units are vandalised in sidings most nights and sometimes even during the day. Compared with that, graffiti is quite rare over here. It's a real pity though how cheap our livery seems to be, with even minor graffiti causing potentially serious damage to the vinyls. Don't be surprised if 508104 ends up with one of its front end 'M' logos missing, because one of these has been spraypainted.
There were 46 units in use today, so there was a fair bit of scope to get that unit cleaned. Transferring it to the Northern Line following graffiti being applied over on the Wirral is a bit bizarre. If they have to do that, why not swap it with one of the units stabled at Kirkdale? Those were in service the day before.
Just seen part of a Merseyrail unit on the back of a low loader turning onto Laird Street. Not hard to miss as driver must have got a bit lost as he was coming out of a side road by the KFC, and had to make a very wide turn. I was down by the bus depot so didn't see it up close, I would think it was heading for Birkenhead North.

Its odd that it is being transported by road, i thought the overhaul unit went by rail up to Kilmarnock.
Unit is 507012. This move has been planned by road for a few weeks due to the regular barrier wagons receiving overhauls of their own.
507 012 is outside bhead depot... well 2 cars of it are, third maybe third one only came by road. Looks shiny and fresh!
The units on the Chester service were all strengthened up to six cars for Chester Races today , unfortunately Chester races today fell foul of the torrential rain .
During the height of the rain services in all directions out of Chester were being disrupted and two services to Liverpool at 1630 and 1700 ran with delay.
