Usually the MPV season starts on the 1st October , firstly with Sandite Module , then De-icing module .

Forgot to mention it failed at Hamilton Square on that evening with a brake fault
Probqbly a stupid question - but what is booked for the deicing diagrams?

If we have a particulary cold spell during the sandite season , the sandite will be foregone for the deicing as it will require a module change at Wigan.

Might get proper locos on New Brighton/West Kirby lines, whatever does the Bidston-Wrexham line.
MPV does West Kirby / New Brighton line .

Bidston / wrexham line doesnt need deicing .

There is a weight restriction on the New Brighton line .

TRUST has a TnT 66 going to both New Brighton and West Kirby on a RHTT later this year IRRC.

Bidston-Wrexham gets serious leaf fall problems so gets water jetted.

New Brighton is RA6(A), and IRRC had an annotation in the SA that higher rated stock can use the branch when on an engineering/technical train.

Although, DRS could send their Class 20/37 RHTT up there if they wanted, as they are RA5.
