When I went into Liverpool on the train yesterday, 507 006 was parked right next to the running lines through Kirkdale, adjacent to the staff walkway from the platform and it was just possible to see the bottom of the damaged front below the tarpaulin covering.

Is 507021 still at Kirkdale depot or has it gone over to Birkenhead North depot?
I saw it at Kirkdale near the start of this week but seemed not to be there towards the end of the week, unless it was towards the back or in the wheel lathe shed?

It was in the wheel lathe middle of the week, and it was still at Kirkdale yesterday
Confirmation that Kirkby station will reopen from Monday morning for Merseyrail services.

Do you think 6 car trains will be able to run to Kirkby station, since under the current 20 min timetable, the Kirkby's interwork with the Ormskirk-meaning 6 cars in the morning and evening peak?
From reopening day, a 6 car train won’t fit until the platform and buffer stop have been restored to full length. The rear coach of a 6 car would have to be locked out of use in the interim to get into Kirkby.
EDIT it now seems repairs have been completed and normal service resumes tomorrow

I can back this statement up as Merseyrail have confirmed that all services to Kirkby will resume from today.

An emergency incident at Huyton has resulted in the diversion or cancellation of train services until 11:30, hopefully it is nothing serious.

Thanks for the info but Huyton is not on Merseyrail network. It will affect Northern & TPE.
Any news of when the next 777 delivery may take place?
I thought around Easter the next 777 deliveries would be due.
