Wonder if 507001 will receive the interior refresh while its in for repair?
Yesterday early evening was a bit on the rough side . Numerous track circuit failure heat related probably , a train failure in the Bebington area and two level crossing barrier down faults on the West Kirby line .
507017 is on the Ormskirk line this morning noticed it has what looks like a new compressor under one of the driving cars so must have been the compressor that caught fire?
It was the camshaft that burst in to flames , the compressor may have been replaced due to heat and fire damage caused .
Oh dear 507017 was the unit that caused the Northern line to be disrupted this evening , this is fast becoming the Ormskirk Line bogey unit .

I was caught up in this disruption i arrived at ormskirk on friday afternoon for the 3:35 train but neither that or the one at 3:50 turned up so ended up getting the 4:05 train.
Currently disruption and heavy delays on the Wirral line due to "emergency services dealing with an incident at Hamilton Square"
Echo website reports a woman had fallen onto the tracks.
508141 and 508108 are the latest recipients of the interior refresh. 507001 was stabled with 507024 at Kirkdale yesterday but isn't visible today so this may be in for the same treatment.
507017 is back on the Ormskirk line today its running as a 6 car with 507020 first time ive seen it following its second breakdown after it had the camshaft fire hope everything goes ok for 507017 today!
Advertising units 507002 and 508111 worked together on this evening's New Brighton - Kirkdale depot empties.
