There will be outstabling this coming Sunday due to engineering work in the Liverpool Loop meaning services from West kirby and New Brighton will run to Birkenhead North and trains from Chester and Ellesmere Port will terminate at Birkenhead Central.
As is customary when services terminate at Birkenhead Central services will run 5 minutes later throughout but only toards Birkenhead Central , services from Birkenhead Central depart 2 mins earlier and stand time Green Lane .
Just in case anyone needs to travel out later its a SUNDAY timetable today with a normal finish , even though there is hardly any other public transport operating elsewhere .
thanks for the info first class, are any other kind of special trains due on the network?

Hooton-Skegness
Have to wait and see about anywhere else.
Probably 2-3 from Liverpool Lime Street, around the summer.
Something from Southport is being looked at too, possibly steam.
Usually around 1 charter a month into Chester, with more in summer and race events.
There was a broken down train at Blundellsands and Crosby earlier, But all services are back to normal now, Except the 10:11 MRF-Southport, Which is cancelled
The train was emitting smoke , but was found to be a plastic bag sucked into one of the resistor fans whilst travelling along.
All services now back to normal , not what you want in the morning peak.
The resistor fans on 508127 make a wonderful noise i can always tell whe 127 is coming!
Due to a track circuit failure at Sandhills services to Ormskirk and kirkby are presently at a stand . Services to southport liable to be disrupted shortly .
A rail replacement bus service is in operation Rice Lane / Walton to Sandhills.
Rats have chewed through a cable. Cable now replaced and trains should be running shortly.
