The coupling of units isnt helped by the fact that almost every platform at Chester is now occupied for a good while every hour at Chester, would an ECS stymie another service .
Chester is getting to be very congested , the premium with Platform 7 is that its a useful platform for services terminating at Chester for onward access onto the depot , those services normally have to use Platform 7A first .

True, due to the increase in Virgin services through Chester more of the Arriva Llandudno to Manchester now use platform 7a.
The delays and platform alterations that can result when a Merseyrail service sits down in 7b for any length of time can be quite something!

507021 is the latest unit to be vinylled
507017 looks quite dirty already and part of the vinyl on the grey side has been torn up slightly.
Be interesting to see what happens about 507021's 'Red Rum' name. Will physical plates (that have been planned for a while) finally be fitted or will it simply be denamed?
The departure boards across merseyrail stations are currently not working, or are showing incorrect information
Are any units in for re-livery at the mo? been a bit quiet since the report of 507021 being done.
Yeah there is one that has ben stripped down. Not sure what unit it is though
Southport to Hunts Cross services subject to disruption due to signalling problems between Liverpool Ctl and Liverpool South Parkway.
