Here are a few clips of 507001 and 507002 running together in 6 car formation on Sunday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCP6yS2KnRs
I have seen 2 videos on youtube of 777002 on its journey north.

In the 2nd video the unit is seen arriving at crewe with class 66 locomotive 66731 Captain Sir Tom Moore hauling it.

Upon its arrival at crewe, it can be seen in the video that the doors on the 4th coach are not fully closed

Any further news on when 507006 will be sent for scrap (or how this will work) and when 507021 will be back?
Is the investigation still ongoing. Both units are still at Kirkdale depot.

507006 is still in the hands of the insurance assessors and 021 will probably be August, it’s waiting a time slot along with the classified overhauls.
I would imagine 006 will go for scrap from Kirkdale by road after being stripped as it can’t be hauled away or coupled with one cab severely damaged
507003 has been repaired and is back in service today on the Southport line with 508111 as its running partner.
Could anyone please confirm the situation with 6 Car services since Monday 17th May.
Are all services on the Southport-Hunts Cross line formed of 6 cars all day?
Also is the Ellesmere Port line also formed of 6 cars?

The Southports are 6 Cars all day. The Ellesmere Ports are currently 6 Cars but may be switched to some of the Chesters at the next change in June

Thanks for confirming. Are there any 6 cars planned to run on the West Kirby line?
Is the 15 min service frequency due to return in June or is the 20 min frequency the 'new normal'?

Theres a 6 car circuit on the West Kirby line in both the morning and evening peaks Monday to Friday.

There are two possibilities, one is to go back to 15 mins but with mostly 3 cars, which won’t help social distancing, or a 20 min service with more 6 cars. The jury’s out on this one at the moment. With 508110, 508134 and 507006 gone since the last “normal” service ran and 507021 out for a little while longer, there aren’t as many units operating now. At least 507021 has been moved to New Brighton so may be moved to Birkenhead North reasonably quickly for repair.
As for the 777s two sets are being moved from Warrington next week to Kirkdale with two sets going the other way the next morning.
