Beat me to it, that bus has issues obviously.
I'm surprised it's on cross river services given it's broke down so often this week.
I would say that the best thing to do would be to not put 4505 on any route that goes to liverpool until its problems are sorted.

Either that or take it off the road completely until the issues are fixed.

no one can find what the actual cause is. someone in the depot said that most thing have been replaced and its even had a new gearbox fitted but its still happening.

as you have said it would make sense to keep it off the road or if they do need to use it put on it on a local route like the 492 or 495
The 492/5 seems the obvious route to put it on for now and maybe a fitter on board for an hour or two to see what happens as something must be wrong?

Having a fitter on board will do wonders for passenger confidence LOL,
Either that or put it out on road tests only with engineers on it along with a driver.

That way any problems could be diagnosed without any passenger concerns.

There could be a software glitch in the vehicle's computer functions
It's been reported elsewhere that 4204 has been withdrawn due to Arriva choosing not to put it through an MOT as it's old. Is their any truth in this as it seems odd to me giving it's taxed till September 2019...

Remaining months' tax are refunded as soon as a vehicle is declared SORN or sold, and I believe it's now automatic, so doesn't even require paperwork to claim it back. So the long tax has no bearing on the decision to put it through MOT it or not.

Shame really as it’ll probably end up in a scrapyard now.
