All we're missing now is a new London Routemaster joining the fleet and then we'd have an almost perfect snapshot of modern British buses all in one place
Yes - there's a tremendous variety in the Wirral at the moment which is leading to some rare sights like last Saturday morning a dozen new hybrids and a Coastliner Gemini on the line at LS. But don't forget there's also a great selection of older vehicles, particularly S/Ds at LS currently seeing service on pretty well all routes except the Cross-River ones.

Unless Presidential still operate their N-reg Volvo Olympians
Dont Ashcrofts still have an ex MTL Endurance for their Jaguar Contract?

They were delivered to Green Lane
Sounds like Arriva after nearly a fortnight of operation are now knowing how many vehicles are required with an in built safety margin for busy periods.
They write the numbers down of how many are travelling on each bus so they know roughly how many buses will be needed for each train coming in.

Err - there were never planned to be more than 30 Gemini 3s on rail replacements anyway
Just wondering, are the drivers or Merseytravel reps meant to do anything to passengers' train tickets when they board the rail replacement bus?
When I have travelled on the rail replacements, I've just been let on, so could easily have got on the bus with the same ticket again if I had wanted to.
Just depends on the station staff as some staff check and some don't as its down to merseyrail and Carlisle staff to check and the drivers just have to press the pass button to count how many are on board as they only want 66 to be carried which is the seated amount on the hybrid gemini 3 even though some people still stand and won't sit down on available seats.
Just seen one of the new hybrids with rail replacement adverts on heading towards Ellesmere port/Chester on the M53 (12.15) didn't see the fleet or regristration numbers.
