4002 was indeed still out yesterday as it spent its final day in service on 413 as I saw it in Moreton yesterday afternoon while I was on 106 from New Brighton
Dart 2244 is in Laird St this morning arrived at 0950 not sure why
Birkenhead is being used to store the Withdrawn Bootle Darts so this will be joining its Sisters
In relation to my previous post its 4001 that is with withdrawn. My apologies, I need to learn how to read a post before I publish it!
Two of the five Presidents are replacing 4001 and 4002, with the other three being rail buses (but they will be used on normal service) 4451 is still here and 2633 is at Southport. 2438 and 2441 are still with us, it's just a case of them being unfit for service, then they'll be withdrawn.
2463 is now here so Laird St have gained an extra six buses in a week.
4001 was on 464 on Friday and 2633 was on 410/1.What does unfit for service mean,MOT running out or developing faults etc.?
I would probably say that it is when the vehicle has developed a fault which the upper management have deemed not worthy of spending the money on especially if they have a replacement already available . At the moment its a net gain which wont be for long .
It seems that the 464 is usually the route where the non hybrid double deckers go so watch that space for the replacement deckers.
Streetlite 6002 Has arrived here, Credit to Forum Member LJ51 DDA for the information
I wonder if the 418/419 circuit will be full Pulsar based when these streetlites displace them on the 487
4170 just spotted on the 418 in Bebington
