You'd think they'd have it on a 472 from Birkenhead or something instead of all that dead-milage. Even if it only picks up a few people along the route it has to be better than a completely dead run.

Mind y ou. just thought that it might annoy Stagecoach if Arriva have an extra bus running about.

Not when the offical service is still running as booked , but as there is an official timetable change with an additional journey in the timetable from April 12 this will be an official journey by then and subject to normal rules and regulations .
Noted on BC - Liverpool rail replacements today
4202
4208
4419
4419 is fast off the mark and as a good turn of speed too as had that today on me west kirby-liverpool from 07:55-12:12 but was a bit creaky.
Nice to see ex LS 4401 & 4419 out today
Had a day out seeing what was operating the Birkenhead North/West Kirby rail replacements today, plus the ex Bootle Pulsars.
Firstly, the rail replacement were operated by a nearly all Bootle allocation, only 4205 being LS's own

Didn't manage to get a shot of 4401.
Onto the ex Bootle Pulsars, two new ones, 3116 & 3119 were out on the 411 & 410 respectively, wasn't aware these had moved over to LS

3120 wasn't seen, 3118 was also out on the 410
So, to recap, 3111/3113/3116-3121 are the ones at LS, presume the rest have remained at Bootle?

I saw one of this batch (I think it was on the 52 but not 100% sure) in the city centre this afternoon - can't remember which one though
There is now an 0800 Neston Brook Street - Birkenhead Borough Road service added into the 487 timetable , it will run 2 mins ahead of the 0746 Ness Botanic Gardens - Liverpool service which leaves Neston Brook Street at 0802.
