Every other route operated as normal in Liverpool as far as im aware. The police were working with Stagecoach and Arriva last night tailing the buses in unmarkd cars and vans.
On twitter they said Kirkby town centre as well.
I really don't see why these thoughtless yobs find it entertaining to throw missiles at buses. I remember it was reported on here a couple of years ago that one of Green Lane's Pulsars had a pumpkin thrown at the windscreen and the driver was injured. Perhaps if they were made to pay for the damage caused as well as the lost revenue whilst the vehicle is off the road being repaired then they'd think again about throwing objects at buses and causing injury to those on board. It really isn't funny and it's pathetic behaviour
I'm afraid you rarely catch the pillocks who do this sort of thing but if you did I would make them pay for the damage caused as well putting them away for a long time.
There was a Pulsar on the 472 lates last night - a rare sight indeed
4173 broken down on the 413 on Hoylake Road near the Shell fuel station.
CX07 CSO on the 418/419 this morning
Im now wondering whether normally allocation for the 418/419 is half double deckers , half single deckers these days . Would like to wonder on the change of policy.
It seems to be a case of whatever the allocator gives the driver. CX 07 CSO ( 2638 ) was on the 414s today.
4180 on 419 today ex Wrexham
Cadet 2638 is staying here and 4180 has joined the fleet.
