Every 487 after midday is always packed. Clearly a Decker cannot be used but what about a part-way journey to say Bebington or Clatterbridge Alternating every 15 mins.

I also think Arriva should not use the same route numbers for part journeys eg 410 to either Woodside or Clatterbridge

Deckers can be used on the 487, the bridge on Liverpool is suitable for low height vehicles, i would hazard a guess that the low height Gemini's would fit under it..
I would suspect that because not all double deckers could fit under the bridges in the neston area its better to be safe than have a vehicle roof cut open. With all the will in the world accidents do happen.

Seen it today in Heswall (1009) & yesterday New Ferry (1320) with A driver on it and a training instructor/2 drivers not sure which
