They were down for autumn 2018/9 so should be imminent
Is 2584 still at Speke and have 2581/2/3/ followed it haven't seen any of them lately?

My guess would be the 408 will run in both directions down Breck Road, loop via Wallasey Village and return to Birkenhead. The 411 to fill the gap will probably cut down Manor Road, serve Liscard and Liscard Road and return to Seacombe via Wheatland Lane
there was talk of the 411 going over the four bridges instead of duke street which will not impress the passengers at all. also the 423 is supposed to be finishing at seacombe rather than continuing through to birkenhead bus station.
will be interesting to see what they do with the 409
Ahh for crine out loud we like that 423 link between wallasey and birkenhead .. knew it was too good to be true !!! Cant leave nount alone
I don't get what they would achieve by terminating the 423 early. Seacombe - Birkenhead covers dead time. That is all. Stops it sitting around forever in Seacombe. Unless they are planning to interwork it somehow to completely re-route it, they might as well run it. They are paying for the bus and the driver. You probably only need 1 passenger to cover the fuel.
Yeah just dont get it...the 423 uses 6 buses of an evening/ night time anyway. Dont think that could be cut down any further even if it terminated at seacombe ferry...the sf to bus stn part of the route does carry passengers both ways and what about the call centre / college it serves ?? Unless the 411 goes up manor rd,liscard, liscard rd then church street to cover it somehow then onto bhead..doubt it tho ?
You can not cut the PVR at all by cutting Seacombe to Birkenhead. Not unless you cut back on other parts of the route. If it was cut back to Liscard, it can drop 1 bus but that all depends on how busy Liscard - Birkenhead is. I don't think Arrivas main thought is covering every road when they drop a service. They see route 423 makes £x. Let's cut it back as it doesn't make enough for us.
