Had a short ride on 6004 today, was impressed with the compact design, half a meter shorter than
a pulsar with the same 44 seats, big letdown was the windows with only two opening on each
side near the front,Driver also thought in his opinion they were rather sluggish off the mark
One Streetlite on the 423 this evening.

I was wondering where the vehicles would go of an evening if not used on the evening 487 jobs.
So what's the situation with the cadets now? 2449 was on 418/9 today (Wednesday) around 1.15pmish but not on there later in the day.
Definitely don't think much of the Wifi on the streetlites it was too slow , end up giving up on it yesterday on 6000.
On a thread relating to Arriva Orders for 2015/16 mention was made of 6 Enviro 400's numbered 4693 to 4698 for Laird Street. Does anyone have any further info on these, please?
There is, Or at least used to be, one 487 board which turns into a 423 in Liverpool in the evening which would explain one on 423s.
2432 is on the 418 today
I sampled StreetLite 6005 on the 487 yesterday evening, certainly fast off the mark, a few rattles and that annoying door alarm, but overall a pleasant vehicle to ride on.
Here's a short YouTube video for anyone who's interested:

That sounds quite nice in comparison to some of the Streetlites I'm used to riding. They were new only in May, they're still in good condition but I'm not fixed on them. They're Micro-Hybrids with awful e-leather seating, although they do have WiFi and plug sockets which is a bonus. Don't get me started on that awful ''whinge'' of the engine when pulling away. The general ''plastic'' feeling they have is also off-putting.
