The other depots knew they was just palming buses off so didnt really look for some of the faults on them.
A Short term situation for Laird St by early next year the oldest bus in the depot will only be about 7 years
2993 is on 410s today. Another one of St Helens finest contraptions.
Thats a Southport Bus and has been for a couple of months now
Southport have 2701/2 now so probably why 2993 has gone.
It hasn't been at St Helens since the dockers arrived.
2701/2 are only temporary at Southport until a selection of their Pulsars have been refurbished.
4001 is on the 407/471/472 this evening.
So much for the Mylleniums replacing the cadets ,only two out this afternoon 2454 and 2455 would be better keeping the cadets going for another twelve months or so.Also all of the older d/d's out today which is unusual including one on 437 ,4205, 4001 on 407/71~2 4002 on 464 4202 on 492/5 and the others on 410 and 414.
Probably to ensure there all in working order for this weekend's events in and around the Mersey.
I suppose the single deckers will become the reserve vehicles in most depots this coming weekend .
2641 on the 471/472 today - I couldn't believe it when it turned up, I almost let it go past before I did a double take
