Just 4495 and 4498 to move over, 4495 is at Thomas Hardys for Gearbox work and 4498 is on the 10 today
Has 3127 gone to Bolton yet?
Yes it's at Bolton, only 3133 from the 12 Plate batch is yet to move over
3011 has left Laird St for Bolton.

4502 also 'Crossriver' branded http://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/29381614230
4501 working the 410 http://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/29547700702

4492, 4493, 4497, 4499 & 4500 also noted out (I';m sure they've been reported elsewhere on this forum....but form completeness, listed here as well), and 3133 is still around too.

4501 on route 410 is the most interesting, as it is a local Wirral not a Cross-River route.

I keep thinking they should be branded as Under-River as they technically speaking go under the Mersey!

These buses often get used on Wirral only routes. I guess that this will be the case more-so now as there are even more of them knocking around.

Under-River seems a bit clunky, and besides, Cross River has been used for years hasn't it? I remember Cross River Express branding on the Palatine IIs, was this a thing before then as well?

Hybrids are now common on 218/9 418/9 with the arrival of the ex Bolton ones

I think the Palatine's were the first with Cross River branding as in an earlier brand move, Merseybus painted up/refurbished some earlier Olympians with Silver Service fleetnames.

Cross River Express branding was first seen in 1971 when the New Brighton to Liverpool Services started, even though they could not have really been described as express routes
4498 is now here
