Will found out soon via Merseytravel, but I've been told that the 414 is being extended to Birkenhead and the 403 is being shortened to Arrowe Park.

Correct 301, the 414 shall be extended as it's doing rather well. It was meant to happen in March but was held back a while.

Assumedly the 413 and 414 would have an even headway between Arrowe Park and Birkenhead -- or at least, I hope so!
I also imagine that the 413 and 414 will interwork with the 403 being a standalone.

I heard 2 drivers speaking about it and few weeks back and one said the 411 and 414 are to inter work with each other when the 414 gets extended
I could see the 403 disappearing even more now with the next reshuffle of services , its a service that seems to be losing its importance to services via Liscard.
Rail Replacement spare buses. Apparently 4 Cadets are now used for this, whichever 4 are left in the line after the morning run out. Not the biggest buses, I presume it is because they are the oldest in the depot now, but they usually have a few deckers knocking about in the depot anyway.

3306/7/8 were rail buses, then 4000/1/2, 4096/9/4143.

Now I think it's just a case of what ever they can use

Im not sure Merseyrail would be happy in the event of needing replacement buses if Birkenhead trailed out three single deckers as most of the time when needed in an emergency there could be more passengers waiting than the capacity of three cadets put together.

I thought the Presedents/VLW's where meant to be Ferry/Rail buses
Arriva don't do the Mersey Ferries ship canal Manchester - Liverpool run any more, another company has taken over.
