Oh so thats why the 418/419 and 492/495 seem to always be run by buses that look like there on a shoestring budget.
The Solos make sense though, these will probably be displaced from Wythenshawe.

They wont make sense on peak time 418/9s though, some of them are full and standing with school children and where even with the full length darts!
They're not for that service though are they, direct replacements for the MPDs on Heswall locals aren't they?
I really hope the 6 new streetlites are for the 418/419 to accommodate it's 6 pvr. This service hasn't had investment in decent buses since the R-reg darts first ever came

What's a streetlite?

Both 819 & 886 have been on all sorts of routes, from 410, 411, 413, 432 and 418/9. It's all part of the fun really! Wink

Mant thanks Bus Dude
Im still not a supporter of the streetlite , it has that look of something that is cheap and nasty , but this looks the way of the future so will have to grin and bear it , me thinks.

Six is a low figure , any idea on seating capacity of them .
Seating capacity of up to 45 on the 11.5m 'Max' models.
