I saw it yesterday afternoon heading down Dale Street. It had five bikes and their riders on board.

Its quite popular and started to get decent loadings and as also been praised on twitter etc by people that have used it.

I hear that there are serious problems on the Wirral line between BN and Bidston with no services to New Brighton due to a track fault. Unless it can be repaired quickly I think that the spare buses (both Arriva and Stagecoach) are going to be needed this afternoon. At least they are already on standby so disruption may not be as bad as it could be.
The return to service of 8214 (6514) means that it is likely to be the last bus purchased by MTL to be in service on Merseyside
With all these different models and liveries of buses currently darting between Liverpool and Wirral, from both Arriva and Stagecoach, it sure is making for some sights. All we're missing now is a new London Routemaster joining the fleet and then we'd have an almost perfect snapshot of modern British buses all in one place
