They must be additional as all of 1015-29 were taxed before September

Green Lane will be the next depot to operate Arriva Click when it expands

That may be a useful way to cover some of the areas currently without bus services due to Avon’s demise.

That's a possibility but, as a lot of Avon's services were marginal and relied on concessionary passes, I doubt many of those now left without a bus service will be inclined or able to access the Click system. I may be wrong.

You are probably on the right lines though.

Well as Arriva have taken on some former Avon drivers using them on Click makes sense. I suspect with them being from the Wirral having the new Click buses at Birkenhead could well operate from there as they are not far from the tunnel to take up service straight into Liverpool especially as Speke is the complete opposite end of the zone. Green Lane is planned to be next depot but not for the foreseeable future and the Birkenhead option might indeed take the place of green Lane certainly in the short term.
A right assortment on 83a today 2496,2529,2614 and hybrid 4504. I don't know anything about 2496 or 2529 but I presume they are pool vehicles,2496 looked very tatty and 2529 is in the new livery.2614 seems to be out and about most days so it must be okay to drive.2953 was on 413/4.2599 is still here was on 408/9..
2614 was a cracking bus when at st helens as its fast, warm and pretty comfortable but it just kept having little niggley problems with the gearbox.
Is 2512 still at Birkenhead, and if so does anyone know where it's most likely to appear please ?

First have been tending to reduce some of their bus operations.

Transdev seem to largely avoid "big city" operations.

Rotala - are they big enough to afford all of the Arriva bus operations ?

Go Ahead ??

Anyone else ??

And in any case, potential buyers will want to see if/how the city region mayors want to control / franchise bus operations in their areas.

Transdev do at least run buses into Leeds and Manchester from towns outside. They could be interested in Southport. Mind you, so could Rotala.

Talking of whom, CEO of Rotala Simon Dunn gave an interview in Route One here.
