I'd imagine a DAF Decker.

Don't they? Thought they did. Something of an equal size like a Gemini or something.
If Bootle get a replacement it is likely to be a DLP or VLW.
Whats the reasoning for the enviro arriving though ?

It could be touring the north west throughout the year in the same way 3047 is supposed to be doing throughout it's life
Bootle will be getting a DLP.
The word is that the enviro is suppose to be doing the rounds around the merseyside depots.

Exactly what I thought as I haven't seen anything in St Helens promoting the queen's 90th nor read anything on any of the threads other than on the Bootle and Birkenhead threads. I'd expect the Welsh buses with the queen's livery to tour North Wales as well.
Just had my first ride on a Streetlite (6004) from Bebington to Liverpool. Very spacious if a little on the cool side with no apparent heating. What I did notice is that it is fitted with a two-way radio set which didn't seem to be operational. Is this a recent thing is was it delivered with such equipment?
Barney , in the summer months these Streetlites suffer from a lack of opening windows which has been noted on here by some of our fellow forum members.

Im led to believe also that a streetlite had to be taken out of service last night to being bricked in the vicinity of St Catherines Hospital , does anybody have an idea what the vehicle number was ?
