Pardon? I'd have thought it was fairly obvious I was referring to Arriva's orders of deckers for Liverpool services, not Birkenhead's. This would be apparent if you'd care to look at the quoted section.

I've already explained why Birkenhead hasn't had any deckers since 2013 but it seems obvious you don't want to acknowledge them
As for "clueless" I know how a business works and that the most profitable parts of a business will receive the most investment. Birkenhead depot isn't as profitable as Green Lane and Speke depots so they are generally going to receive new stock on a more regular basis. That's the way it works I'm afraid

Same with Bootle as other than the small number of Enviro400s and the 5 mmcs they also haven't had a lot of new buses really. St Helens only got new deckers due to running 10/10A, money talks of course. .

I don't think it'll be too long before Bootle gets another slice of the pie as I can't see the Centros having much more than a year left in service. I expect it'll be the same for Speke too as they've got around 25 buses from 2006 on their allocation at the moment and they're not getting any newer either. Time will tell!

There are a lot of buses that will need replacing across the board in the next 3 years The earliest pulsars are now 14 years old, newest commanders/cadets the same, and into the many 58 plates after that. Be a bit like going back to the pulsar influx of 07/08 etc with loads of new buses.
Mini Enviro 2162 now tracking on 432 this morning unless it’s only a ticket machine swap..

Why does that not surprise me
Does anyone know what's happening with 4418 please?
2162 was out on 432/433/437 and stayed out until around 1900 before being swapped for a Hybrid.
4418 has gone away for a new engine.
Why doesn't ARRIVA mechanics change engines?
