I recon the fate of 2407 be the same as the ALX in Birkenhead and I guess that got scraped not heard much since its fire
Was 2407 fire as bad as the Birkenhead one?
if the Birkenhead one got scraped I think 2407 will also tbh
Have you seen the damage to make that judgement Andy? I don't think so.....

The damage to 2407 is actually rather minimal. There are scorch marks requiring a lick of paint on the rear end around the engine compartment but otherwise, it should just need a new engine. Something that could be very easily done. I guess the decision that has to be made, however, is as to whether it would be economically viable to do so.

Those 24xx Alexander alx300's need binning, terrible buses and with two recently caught
fire their time is very short i would say rather than a good few years

Can't say i'm the biggest fan of them myself, you can polish a turd but you can't make it shine... On another note, I managed to grab a ride on 2133 today. It's actually quite nice, a tad sluggish but the engine sounds quite nice and there aren't too many rattles. I've definitely rode much better, and much worse Darts.
I've noticed a few buses (2133 included) have had their dests re-programmed for all Stockbridge Village journies to display

"Stockbridge Village Denes Way" Rather than just "Stockbridge Village"

It appears GL are actually having a crack at doing proper, formative destination displays now!
I didn't catch the fleet number, but a 13E Page Moss went through Queen Square Bus Station around 14.00
2402 was on the 10b late this afternoon, the driver was having some fun with a drunk that couldnt even count out his bus fare when I got on it, funny though.
Sounds like 2402 thinks it's a Pulsar at the minute like 7625 did the other week, with it being on the 18 yesterday and 10B today.

They've changed that destination too late! Denes Way doesn't exist now - the "terminus" in Stockbridge Village is now called Leach Croft. Whilst it's nice to see them making some effort, it's pointless of them because the information is incorrect.
2405 on a 68 board (still displaying Aigburgh Vale...) with 2415 on a 9 board.
