There aren't enough vehicles coming from St Helens to replace 27 Pulsars and 2345 so something will definitely have to come in to replace it as it's needed at the moment. I don't know if 2219 is returning (I've heard it may not be coming back) but I don't think 2208, 2217 or 2221 will be coming back

There are enough buses coming in to replace the Pulsars:
2701-2710 = 10
3023-3026, 3047 and 3048 = 6
4584-4594 = 11
Total = 27

I know - it was a typing error. My point is there's no extra bus arriving from St Helens to replace 2345 so it will have to stay unless something comes from another depot to replace it

Sorry - I misread your post.
I woulda thought they would have thrown 2431 GLs way to replace a Myllenium
Why would an X reg Bus replace a Y reg Bus more so when the Cadet would be none standard at GL...
The Myllenium are unreliable and have spent more time off the road than on it
That maybe so but they are still not going to replace an older none standard Bus with a standard one.

There are no full size single deckers available at the moment so I very highly doubt a Cadet or anything else in reserve will be replacing a full size Myllennium as this would be a decrease in capacity. 2345 is the spare bus at Green Lane and at the moment nothing with a superior capacity is due or available to replace it - and aside from that point 2345 has a higher seating capacity (39) than an X-ANC Dart (36) or X-AJA/HJA Cadet (38). I personally don't see the logic in replacing a Y-reg full size single decker with an X-reg midibus

The only buses that are replacing the Myllenniums are the brand new double deckers for the 12/13 and 15
With thanks to the Arriva North West page it has been confirmed that Green Lane depot will receive 35 Alexander Dennis Enviro400s which will be the Euro V variant
