2400 if fixed would be perfect for green lane
Your obsession with 2400 is ridiculous, this probably won't be fixed anyway, it is going to be some sort of dart that fills in or replaces 2407. There is an abundance of spare darts with even a couple of marshalls spare.
green lane have the others so why not send that in? just have to wait and see what arriva do
Speke had the others for around 10 years and 2400 was never sent. Ideal use for its engine now though
i know, 2400 stayed at manchester but with 2400 being in good shape it will cost a lot less to get on the road ( i should think) and then you can scrap whats left of 2407, thats how i see things, some are going to agree with that some are not
2407 is newer and refurbished, a shame it may be, 2400s engine would be ideal for 2407 if it needed it.
Correct Dan, 2400-3 wont have long left due to their age os makes sense to strip 2400 for the other prestiges in the fleet and give 2407 its engine. Arriva do this quite a lot with dead vehicles to save money.
3609 Daf decker was burnt out it was towed to speke to allow its engine and other bits be removed as 3612 required an engine
7557 is apparently here in service[/font]
And if that is the case there is 2407's replacement, and like most of us said it would be a dart.
2644 has been towed in by RNW
