According to the latest Liverpool Transport committee meeting, Arriva is due to spend 2 million in brand new buses which are due to introduction in the first quarter of 2019/2020. Does anyone know what buses are due and where they will be based?

How much do new buses cost ? I imagine most double deckers probably cost over £100,000 at present, so £2 million might buy 15-20 double deckers, or up to 30-ish single deckers. So not a huge fleet renewal programme - maybe enough to replace more ex-London double-deckers, or a few Cadets ??

Was thinking this myself, I reckon they'll be Enviro200 or Enviro400 MMCs and will see off a few of the Cadets and Commanders dotted around the North West
