That is true, Bootle passed on some of their worst darts when GL took over the 68 with 2216 & 2229 going over.

Really? I seem to remember a nice new batch of 61 plate Pulsars not so long ago to replace high floor vehicles which Jackson Street still operate at this current moment. That in addition to the Pulsars that Green Lane managed to get at every other delivery (58, 09, 59, 10)... Green Lane being left behind? I don't think so.
That may be so but look at the number of Darts they have not to mention the renowns

2103 is just crap, 2310 couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding and 2313 isn't bad. Infact, in my opinion 2103/2310 are the worst Darts at the depot with 2216, 2229, 7629 and 7657. Best Darts at the depot are probably 2204, 7613 and 7658. They are the only really good ones.

Green Lane haven't been left behind, but at the same time 41 Darts at a depot with such a demanding route network is completely ridiculous. Darts are unsuitable for every Green Lane route bar none. Renowns, despite their tiredness, are ideal for the long 6s to Warrington and will be good buses once/if P&P'd.

As things stand, if Green Lane have 41 Darts then St Helens only have 8 less. We also have the Renowns. If we look at things excluding the new Solos which won't be in service until next month, we've also got 6 high floor vehicles in daily service.

With regards being allocated vehicles which are unsuitable for the garage's route network, I'd cite the 4 58 plate Solos at Jackson Street which are realistically constricted to 2 routes through the week due to size.

Green Lane haven't done badly at all out of orders in recent years - you just have to look at the number of Pulsars they have to realise that.
I would expect GL to get a number of the 12 plated pulsars on olympic duty
i wish bootle would get rid of the darts completely and get new buses in same as stagecoach buses would be perfect for bootle or even same deckers as well

Green Lane aren't due any of them I don't think, as far as I know it's Birkenhead and Speke getting them.
7625 Was on the 15 this aternoon.
Complete co-incidence I know, but that's the third day 7625 has been on a Pulsar route. Monday it was on the 14, Tuesday the 10B and now today the 15. Seems the allocations have gone a bit loopy recently.
