I'm also led to believe 2217 was on the 9. According to the same source, 2219 is the final Bootle transfer to GL.

Yep - correct! Very strange seeing that and X237 ANC (2237) on other services - and they're the better two out of the selection (so tempted to board 2237!). That's nine noted as having transferred here, anyway. I wonder if a tenth is out and about...?

Pulsar CX58 EUK (2668) broke down this evening on Lime Street in Liverpool - bonnet was still up some time later when I seen it for the third time!

Dart SLF/ALX200 2310 R310 CVU is on the 68 today!

At first I thought nothing of an ALX200 being on it (being so used to the X2xx OBNs being on the route) then as it got closer I realised that they couldn't be on it any more as the route is now at Green Lane route!

Sadly I didn't have my camera with me at the time!

In it's place, 2216 was on the 8. Rode it home, absolute shed of a bus. Rattly, slow and loud. One of the worst X-ANCs around, and definitely worse than any of the native Green Lane examples. It looked very tatty internally and externally, with remains of the "Le Bus" branding still evident. The interior still has 55/A branding inside.

I have been rattling on about 2216 being one of the worst for ages, in fact I named it my shed of the year for 2011, it is one I will avoid if I can.

I can go one worse than 2216, 2229. EVERYTHING which can rattle on that rattles, and is incredibly uncomfortable and loud.

Yeah - 2229 is 100% worse than 2216! Shame, as 2216 used to be a decent bus until it had a new engine fitted after breaking down with a serious oil problem (that was years ago - where's the time gone?!).

My mate has just informed me that Pulsar CX58 EUO (2672) was on the 68 sometime during the week.

7664 was on the 68 today, displaying the very informative destination "Arriva Serving Merseyside"... Out of all the buses in the depot, they had to pick a Marshall with an X-ANC blind...

2716 was on the 12/13 and 2719 was on the 26/27 today.
