Someone doesn't have any confidence left in that particular vehicle type any more.
The Myleeniums are still good buses and are regularly seen on routes 8/9 and 68 which run much further away from GL than the 26/27.
Seemed to be a lot of disruption this afternoon, poss connected to the Jolly Miller diversion. Observed a number of 12E and 13E journeys, along with a lot of bunching up of buses.
Looks like GL have kept their deckers in the depot today. Presumably because of the amount of vermin that will be roaming the streets tonight.
For those wanting an idea of what the BYD's are like, Nottingham has just started using them on a City Centre Circular.

If the creaking is down to the state of the roads, then I can't see them lasting 2 minutes on Liverpool's roads.

Luckily though the buses for Green Lane will have Enviro 200MMC bodywork (or Enviro 200EV to be accurate).
