Just look over the pennines. yorkshire have had a few dafs go up in flames, seems to be common with them
Was it not mentioned that it was an engine design flaw in that a fuel pipe sat very close to parts of the exhaust system?

8, 9 and 10B serve there, but it should have been a 8/9 allocation
Variety was the spice of life on the 10B today with 2578 I seen this morning, whilst this afternoon on consecutive boards were 2223 & 2413. The latter I rode and this must be the best of the small amount of alx300's left.
Ironically all the ALX300s that have had fires had been at Speke at some point, in the case of 2404, 08 and 12 they were at Speke not long before going up in flames and 07 spent many years at Speke also 2721 is ex Speke and DAF Cadet 2424 had a fire at Speke as well and well we all know what happened to 4118 so perhaps Speke have put curses on their buses

2404 and 2412 were not Speke buses. They went from Manchester, to (a short move) Green Lane to Birkenhead. However after being on a short loan to Speke, 2404 and 8 did suffer the same fate
4118 had the "GHD curse" of overheating and igniting much like the straighteners of which it was advertising
It's not Speke cursing the buses, it's the passengers having to use them!
2 Cadets on the 68 today, 2551 and 2431, are these transfers or havent I seen them before?!
