I thought Wright bus was getting rid of the two bottom clusters replacing them with LED strips like the Gemini 3?.

In that case im in no rush to get on one, the 12 plates are terrible in my opinion
I just passed 3159 so the only one not accounted for today is 3161
Had a ride on 3159 (which I swear said MX14 HRN on the front and MX14 HRU on the back?) and it was a very nice bus, solid, not a single rattle to be heard as can be expected on a new bus. Wonder how long they'll last like that...

On a separate note the only DAF ALX300 noted today was 2413 on the 9, the rest may have already bitten the dust by now. Guess we'll find out on Monday!
There was an ALX300 on the 8 as well but for the life of me I can't remember which one as I was driving and didn't give much attention.

The 8/9 inter-work so it is likely to be the same bus.

Singer Arthur Brown is interested in buying them

Slow acceleration, possibly due to Euro6 emission equipment, possibly due to still being tight and new.

Virtually identical to the 12-plate Pulsars at Bootle, apart from new-style wheelchair stickers. Standard seating capacity 44 seats, 33 standees (max cap 77). Usual 8885kg weight marking.

Driver says they cost £144,000 each. Just 200 miles on 3164's clock.
Nice clean buses.

Nip-pick on the bit in bold - they are not Euro6. VDL are not offering anything for the UK at Euro6, these are part of the last 200 Euro5 SB200s available. They are the reason North East and Shires are receiving Streetlite Max Late in the year (North East are still getting 8 Pulsars but that's it).
3161 was on the last 7A from town last night so they were all in service yesterday then
3162 is on The Belt today!
