I assumed that they were being delivered on low-loaders as the distance between Falkirk and Liverpool is over 230 miles. Also, does anyone know have far these BYD's are expected to travel on a single charge and how long it takes to recharge a totally flat BYD battery?

Any idea of the time of this launch?
Maybe low loaders to skem then driven to green lane.

They have enough charge for 18 hours of use. Recharge is 4/5 hours

7000 and 7004 were used for driver familiarisation today

Theres going to be one of runcorns gas buses there too according to phil cummings.
7001 was at the launch today whilst 7000 was out on driver familiarisation again

Quite a few interesting allocations today. At least one Pulsar each on the 10B, 12/13 and 15 with an Enviro400 and Gemini 3 on the 26/27 circulars

Will there be an increase in frequency on the 26/7 when these BYD's hit the road? The BYD's only seat 38 and it will be interesting to see how they cope at peak times and when there's a match on. Once upon a time these routes had a 3-minute frequency AND benefited from supplementary football specials.

The 26/27 will be staying as every ten minutes in each direction
