It was indeed 2404. I wonder if these will be withdrawn as isn't this the 4th one now to have a fire?

Think it the 4th one isnt it, don't know if they will withdraw them just yet although they can't have all that long to go anyway. Not much around to replace them with either.

I think so yes, 2407/8 and 12 have all been withdrawn due to fire. If memory service me right haven't they all had the same problem?

Another of the particular version of version of vehicle , to end up as scrap metal.

To be honest if i was Arriva if there is any more of these left on the road , they need to be checked thoroughly now.
Be interesting to see if they are withdrawn, given that some have been polished and promoted.

That wouldn't matter, prestiges 2402 & 2403 were P&P and about a year later they were gone.

and east lancs dart 1264 and a east lancs lance from skem
It's funny how only the ALX300s are catching fire. The Mylleniums and Prestiges don't have this problem despite all having the same engine/chassis.

Maybe a design fault in the Alexander bodywork restricts the cooling of the engine.

2456 had a minor engine fire last year before it was repaired and sent back to Speke.

The green lane "Curse" has wrote off 2404, 2407, 2408 and 2721 alone this year
