Great to see these are now on delivery and somewhat earlier than previously anticipated. They're never going to win any awards in the looks department, but they at least appear to be the higher capacity models and are almost certainly going to ride better than the Enviro400s.

By contrast, it's such a shame to see overly small tat ordered for the 26/27. It still astounds me that neither of the main Anfield stadium corridors (17 and 26/27) have double decker fleets. The Shiel Road circulars easily justify double deckers at peak times, especially since the frequency was dropped to every 10 minutes. Electric or not, I could hardly look forward to this order less.

Only four opening windows on the top deck. The ADL's have ten! Swelter in the the summer but, as the Wright hybrids have awful heating, it won't matter in the winter

The lack of opening windows on the top deck is really poor I agree. There should be at least three on each side in my opinion. Hopefully the heating on this batch of hybrids is better than the others

Even so it's nice to see something different ordered for Merseyside - especially Green Lane which will very soon have a majority double decker allocation at long last
These have been delivered early to operate the rails from january im led to beleive.
