3159 has a sticker behind drivers cab saying that it won an award for being the best presented bus
on show in the driver of the year awards in Blackpool on 14 september,wonder if any other depots
had anything on show ?
It came Joint first with Rosso. I was part of the team that presented it at BDoY. 2800 won a few years back and 3137 from runcorn came 2 nd in 2012 but the last 2 years its been green lane buses. Last year it was 3154 and 3155, this year it was 3159 and 3164. Dont know if anyone has noticed the last marshall in the NW fleet has gone from green lane

Thanks for the info,was7660 the last Marshall
7660 was indeed the last Marshall although it hadn't carried paying passengers for a good year.

Presume 7675 the last bus new to MPTE went to Barnsley and was not preserved because of its
condition, with 7653 7656 being kept,last one owned by Jorden
7660 7654 and 7656 are now in the care of NWVRT. Latter is mine as Rob said and will be going into mtl livery with southport names and the others are spares donors
DAFs 2455, 2458, 2461, 2466 and 2470 are now also in service leaving just 2452, 2457 and 2468 to enter service at Green Lane. 2217 was still going on the 8 today, and 2345 was still going on the weekend on the 8. Grab your rides whilst you can!

I did manage a shot of 2470 at Mann Island today, thought I hadn't seen it out before.....
