I do agree with you there actually, i've waited 40 minutes for an 8 in town once and that is downright ridiculous. I know Old Swan is bad at present, but it is no where near 40 minute delays! On another note, Commander 2577 is on the 68 today. The first ever time a Commander has been on the 68, as far as I know.
If a bus picks up a 20 minute delay heading away from Liverpool (as some have reported recently) then it's very likely it may well pick up another 20 minute delay on the way back toward Liverpool. If this is the case, I don't think a 40 minute delay due to traffic is a surprise really......
i have been on a few 10A's being stuck in that traffic for 30 mins, some days the road is clear other days it really does make traffic jams
Can anyone pls list the routes that even lane are responsible for..

8/9 - Liverpool city centre - Huyton (via Kensington)
10B - Liverpool city centre - Huyton (Elizabeth Road)
12/13 - Liverpool city centre - Stockbridge Village
14 - Liverpool city centre - Croxteth (Willow Way)
15 - Liverpool city centre - Huyton (via West Derby Road)
18 - Liverpool city centre - Croxteth Park
26/27 - Sheil Road circulars
68 - Bootle New Strand - Aigburth Vale

7557 has now been withdrawn, it's parked at the back of the depot in a partially cannibalised state. Perhaps that's why 2223 was transferred in, as a 7557 replacement.
