There shouldn't be any confusion as they had a similar situation on the 79s years ago didn't they (79 Liverpool to Netherly/Halewood, 79 Murdishaw to Hough Green, 79C Liverpool to Murdishaw via Hough Green).
Im still surprised this didn't happen when the 14 was dropped for extra 79Cs Warrington could also maybe shorten their 62 to Halton Lea or the old Town if they had too.

Been informed that 5 buses will be done
Has 2539 entered the pool by any chance?
2666 is back after a two week absence, might've had a trip to St. Helens for a paint touch-up but that is just my assumptions.

There are only two Cadets at Runcorn, which are 2539 and 2546. Some of the 55 Reg cadets are already at Merseyside in the pools, whilst the Southport batch recently made the move to Birkenhead.
There are other Cadets at separate North West depots such as Winsford, Wythenshawe, and Bolton.
But then again, there will likely be a withdrawal of older Cadets soon, such as Southports 2491 and Green Lane's 2493.
Just saw a Pulsar 2 and Arriva Bus and Coach interiored Centro pass on Speke boulevard, assuming it’s a movement to Runcorn

Thanks for the correction, wasn't aware about that.
Seem the joys of diverting into the bus depot for driver changes may now be over. The 61, 79C and X30 are amended to 'no longer serve the Arriva depot due to health and safety'.
