By the looks of it.its drop all its oil out of the wheel bearing
Bit of an update to clear a few things up

Withdrawn on site are 2539/41/47, joining long term scrapper 4104. The 3 Cadets are donating parts to keep the fleet on the road.

Deckers are all but confirmed to be arriving in September, reports varying on type, seems likely to be 61 plate Geminis or 64 plate Enviro400s. They will be for the 79C which will indeed terminate at Halton Hospital. I've not heard any more details from my source yet.

2666 transferred to Southport about 2 weeks ago, it is permanent rather than being a loan.

Hope this helps!
I'd imagine that the deckerz may come from St Helens, possibly displaced from the new buses that were supposed to be coming for the 10/A. Only other thing would be ex London but more likely the St Helens ones

The new Buses are not due until early 2022 so cant be from there, Would have to be from Speke but even then replacing Deckers with Singles will not be a popular move

Probably from elsewhere then, plus by the time we get to 2022 the 06 commanders will be due off so not sure where the SD's would come from. Even though buses seem to be getting run a bit longer as a few years ago the 15+ year old buses were gone

One thing that was mentioned to me a good few months ago is Arriva plan to swap older Buses in Merseyside and Greater Manchester with younger Buses from elsewhere so Buses could be kept beyond 15 Years old, We shall see if that does happen however.

They'll only be able to do that so many times before new buses are necessary somewhere

Arriva really need to start buying new buses again sooner rather than later

Agreed, lots of older buses floating around now with arriva nw, cadets, commanders, centros / pulsars all 04-07 plates. B7'S 55/06 so lots to replace I do think buses will be held longer though, especially if they can be adapted to meet emissions.

I don't know about the 07 plates but the 58 plate onwards generations of Pulsars can be upgraded to Euro6 but the Commanders Cadets etc cannot. There was talk of some more getting done with the grants avaialble etc.
