My friend from Southport thinks they are because some idiot keeps putting them down as at Southport when they aren't on buslists.uk but most of the people he's talked to think they're coming here, I guess we just wait and see

I had heard somewhere (Cant remember where) the 14 Plates would come here to replace 2698, 2699 and 2700 once the upcoming Rail Replacements to Kirkby is complete, Apparently 98/99/700 never had Euro 6 upgrades so are being replaced for that reason

What I don't get though is that 2698 was refurbished and repainted so no clue why that's being replaced but another bus that I don't get why it isn't being replaced is 2669, whether that's going back to Bangor or not I'm unsure, 2699 was repainted but not refurbished but 2700 I can see, it sounds battered, has the first ever (i think) moquette and the Cotswold Stone Livery so I get that.

St Helens will probably get them to replace the remaining Commanders

Fair point, but then will the Commanders move somewhere else, join the training fleet or be withdrawn? I know 2582 up in GL is joining the training fleet

Just been mentioned that both are being withdrawn from passenger service at the end of the week.

So that would open up a slot for St Helens to get EWL, EWM and EWN while we get HRN, HRO and HRP

Doubt they will return as not been converted to Euro6 standards.

Probably won’t but I assumed the Commanders would need replacing PVR must be lower than I thought even with schools going.
The MX14s are in fact coming here, they're just being stored at Bootle (3159) and Green Lane (3160 and 3161) until the Rail Replacements are done
3049 broke down at The Park about 12:05, seen at 16:48 just getting towed back to the depot (was on 674 so picture isn't that good)
