Totally different companies produced the two buses. I just find it hard to believe that a mistake of that magnitude has happened. Runcorn were meant to be getting 10 and there are 10 there. Getting some fleet numbers wrong is one thing but registrations etc being wrong seems a bit far. It's happened before I suppose but unless one of the NE ones is coming in return, it seems wrong.

Funny enough, our 4801 has been delivered with Arriva Merseyside legals and its body/chassis number don't match up with the rest. So a swap is likely.

I have stopped posting on this forum owing to all the wrong things posted on it over the last few days,
But I will put the records straight regarding the Gas Buses 5000 IS A NORTH WEST ONE,
Yes there was one with North East Legals this been 5007 done by mistake and was changed, , And there was a North East reported with North West Legals, the VIN on 5007 was checked to confirm it was correct,
Ray, I appreciate the clarification. Can you let us know either in this thread or by PM what wrong things have been posted on here - do you mean the claims of one being bricked and shunted?
5000 was the one debuted at Bus and Coach Expo hence ECO CITY on the pod. Arrived on Friday and will be getting them vinyls removed. 507009 They were not claims as one was bricked and one had a shunt. Seen Both vehicles with my own eyes on sunday in the depot.
just thought id jump in when i was in Runcorn 5/3/13 5000 was sitting at the back of the Runcorn Depot, along with 5001 im not to sure but i actually do think 5000 had them vinyls removed on the pod, cant confirm that but i think it did
