I wouldn't have thought the gas buses would move to Chester - has Runcorn enough other work for them?
It is only the X30 moving to Chester - no vehicles or other routes were involved in this.

Most will be working on the 79A(this covering the 82A route in Runcorn) 79C plus the 82A this interworking with the X1

I guess the extra services in Runcorn will be ok for it. 110 up to every 15 and the 79A must need a few extra drivers.

Is the X30 busier than any route operated by Speke?

No but it would be a case of the hybrids moving to Speke to free up older vehicles. It should be Enviro 400s to keep costs lower (less spare parts) but that depends how much sense arriva have.

Speke is receiving seven hybrids from Birkenhead. They could displace the equivalent number of Gemini 2s although by the looks of it they are displacing Commanders instead
it would say the X30 does do better than the 78 since the 21 was withdrawn
The main problem for the X30 is it doesnt tie in with the school times so it misses out majorly on what could be a fair few students. I wonder if Chester will change that.
