Have 2533 and 2553 been fitted with WiFi as well?

Nope unfortunately not! 2553 was done back in August and has connextion branding whereas has only just been done and no longer carries connextion branding
2953 joined 3137 on the X1 today!
The 21 is being withdrawn between helsby & chester from mid january & x30 is having timetable changes from same time
Any ideas why 21 is being shortened? It seems to be healthy into Chester.

Would this not be the Stagecoach evening operated service?
Its the arriva 21 that will only run between helsby & runcorn, stagecoach 21 runs from chester to frodsham, saves arriva a bus to use on other routes, like 15 between chester & saughall being reduced to half hourly from new year as arriva are withdrawing 1 of their journeys each hour, between helsby & chester must only need 1 bus per hour & its better thats its the x30
Stagecoach 21 only operates evenings so Arriva have no competition. Though Stagecoach do have the X2 operating Chester to Runcorn operating the same as Arriva between Helsby and Runcorn. SC do have much cheaper prices so I can only guess this is the reason.
Enter Stagecoach.
X3 would be a fitting service number for a Halton Lea - Chester service, should they choose to seize the opportunity.
I have to say though, it will be very tight if not impossible to run the 21 with 1 bus on an hourly frequency between Halton Lea and Helsby, unless they interwork it (perhaps with the 3A/3C?)
I wonder if they factored this in when placing the order for the new gas buses, as in theory this cutback should free up 1 gas bus.
