Runcorn driver said that 2707 is here until the X1 pulsars have been refurbished, but hasn't seen 2708 yet.
2707 was back at SH today,
Seen it on the 89 at 0805 this morning
There was a commander on the X1 today, to far away to ID however.

2708 is on the 82A this morning :-)
Caught 11:03 X30 from Warrington yesterday and it arrived about 5mins late into Warrington and left about 10 down, unfourtunatly the journey got worse as due to heavy traffic between Sutton Weaver and Frodsham Traffic Lights (it was unusually clear after them) he lost even more time so by the time he got to Chester he was a full 25mins late as he should have left at 12:30 but didn't get in until 12:55 and if I'm right he would have been due a break at 13:13, I know it would have probably got back to Warrington extremly late.

The 21 behind the X30 seemed to fair much better as that arrived about 5mins behind the X30 and dropped off its passengers and went straight out leaving about 5 late infact the driver didn't seem to be hanging about from what I saw

While we're on the subject, I noticed a Cadet on the X30 yesterday.
They are quite susceptible to falling behind time really and can often get significantly behind as once they're down they never seem to get back on time again.
That's the fault of the management if they are not given enough time....once you start chasing to get your time back, your in trouble...not worth rushing to keep to time..

The last few weeks have been bad on a Saturday for the X30 one of the main problems been most traffic heading for the M56 from the Weston Expressway is now going via Frodsham if the M56 traffic is slow,

Also with all the roadworks for the new Mersey Crossing the the slip road from Central Expressway to the M56 is closed so all the traffic as to go via Sutton Weaver

As for the 21 this is also affected but not as much plus with the X30 running late it would have had a clear run,

Also Creamfields is on.

I live in Runcorn and at weekends we will not go anywhere near Frodsham

Why are management at fault for not giving enough running time as a rule the 21/X30 have alway been very reliable, I worked this route for many years
The management are stuck between a rock and a hard place , you add extra time into the timetable at your peril then have the bus sitting time in various places if the timetable is lengthened and the traffic delays dont appear.

In recent weeks the M56 seems to have had big accidents which just grind the parallel A56 into the ground and nothing is going to sort those sort of delays out .
As for the X30 being served by Cadets, surely you'd stick the Ecocities on that route and the Cadets on the 21, purely for ease of operation?
