Shocked to see 4106 out on 500.

This is a Speke vehicle. As there's a home game at Goodison Park today and a rugby international at Anfield tomorrow it may well be to increase capacity.

500 isn't operated by Speke anyone and 4106 is a loan from Winsford.

I assume the 500 serves the part of the Busway which doesn't have the low bridge.
The 500 runs down to murdishaw doesnt it which as the low bridge on that decapitated the stagecoach decker on the X2 the other week.

Thanks MM. So Probably had a diversion then.
How long is it since a decker operated out of Runcorn Depot?

I know that Runcorn now operates the 500 and wrongly assumed that 4106 was still a Speke bus. The fact that a decker is on the 500 today is either pure chance or, more likely, deliberate to increase capacity. I suppose only the depot allocator will be able to answer this question.
